Peacefully at home on December 18, 2020, of Blackwood, NJ. Age 85 years.
Beloved husband of 23 years to Ann Worrell. Dear father of four daughters. Loving grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 19.
Phil was a 1953 graduate of Camden Catholic High School where he excelled in football. He started working in the family business, James B. Ryan HVAC at the age of 13 and became owner in 1970. He retired in 2018 after 70 years. Phil was an active parishioner of Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Agnes Church in Blackwood and a righteous man of God. He enjoyed dancing, golf, watching the Eagles, Phillies and old cowboy movies. Phil was also a longtime committee member of the Joseph L. DeMarco, III Memorial Golf Tournament.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday 9 to 10:30 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 250 S. White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, St. Vincent Pallotti Church, 901 Hopkins Rd., Haddon Twp., NJ. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phil's memory to the JLD III Memorial Scholarship Fund, 113 E. Kings Highway, Audubon, NJ 08106.
