IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Angelina Braccio
Molle
November 6, 1924 – June 27, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Angelina, on June 27 th , 2021, who declined slowly after the loss of her cherished husband of almost seventy years, Blasco, on February 1 st , 2019.
Angelina arrived at Ellis Island, New York, from the small farming village of Castelfrance in Campania, Italy at the age of thirteen, on October 1, 1937, along with her Mother, (Antonia Palma Braccio) and her brother, Matthew (Matteo). During the eight year period prior to Angelina's arrival, her father: Carmine Braccio; brothers: Dante, Robert (Soccorso), Isidoro, Luigi and; sister: Emma Braccio Romano had also immigrated to the USA.
The Braccio family started their American journey in a Richmond Hill, NY Italian immigrant community where they lived in a tiny, one-room apartment in which Angelina and Emma had to sleep on a small mattress in the hallway. Over the following years, however, the Braccio family members together with the Molle and Romano families successfully achieved the American Dream and raised their children in close family units teaching them to love God, country and family and to succeed through hard work.
While Angelina never achieved great worldly stature or success, she dedicated her entire life to family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She faithfully loved her one-and-only Blasco from the day she first saw his picture resting on the mantle of his parents' home until the time of her passing. Hopefully, Angelina and Blasco are together again in heaven caring for our family as they always have for so many years. Angelina constantly prayed for the health and well-being of all her family members, including her daily prayers to Saint Anthony for her great grandchild, Dominic.
Angelina is survived by her beloved children: Joseph (Elizabeth) Molle, Maria (Mike) Wasiluk, Michael (Dianne) Molle and Angela (Scott) Decker; her cherished grandchildren: Joseph (Jacey) Molle, Sarah (Adam) Jacobs, Michael (Jackie) and Ryne Wasiluk, Michael and Anthony Molle, and Jason, Danielle and Kristina Decker; and her treasured great grandchildren: Madison and Charlotte Molle, Graham and Dominic Jacobs, and Riley and Lily Wasiluk. Angelina was predeceased by her parents, siblings and husband, Blasco.
We will be forever grateful for the years of loving care that were given to Angelina by her caregiver and friend, Barbara Gonicki – a true saint sent by God as a blessing to our family. We are also grateful to Donna, Julie, Rachel, Karen, Nicole and the entire Heartland Hospice team for the help and support they provided to Mom and our family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, July 2, 2021, 8:30 to 10:30 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM from St. Joseph the Worker Parish, St. Vincent Pallotti Church, 901 Hopkins Rd., Haddon Twp., NJ. Interment private.
