Anne Mogavero Connelly passed away on September 6, 2022, at the age of 98. She is predeceased by her parents Oreste and Caroline (DiCiurcio) Mogavero, brother Mario Mogavero and loving husband Phillip Connelly. She is survived by her brother Oreste (Russ) Mogavero and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Anne was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA.  She was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School for Girls. After graduation, she modeled for the furrier Jacques Ferber in downtown Philadelphia.  Anne then worked at Chalfonte-Haddon Hall in Atlantic City, NJ.  It was there that she met the love of her life, Phil.

Anne and Phil were long time Haddonfield, NJ residents and traveled the world together.  She was an avid reader, active volunteer, foodie, oenophile, proud Italian and loved Frank Sinatra and his music.

Anne donated her time and talent to Our Lady of Lourdes Ladies Auxillary for more than 50 years and volunteered in their thrift shop on Haddon Ave.  She was also a devout Catholic and parishioner of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, 10am at Christ the King Church, 200 Windsor Ave., Haddonfield, NJ. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
