Suddenly on July 15, 2014, of Collingswood, NJ. Age 70 years. Beloved husband of the late Patricia A. Pope (nee Mehaffey). Devoted father of Michael (Sherri), James (Cheryl) and Daniel (Lisa). Loving grandpop and pop-pop of Hannah, William, Michaela, Ellyn, Patrick, Connor, Finnegan, Elizabeth, Kaylie, Carlie and Kyle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A lifelong resident of Collingswood, Art was a graduate of Camden Catholic High School and a member of the last class to attend the Camden location. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard for six years, was a member of St. John Men's Club and former Scoutmaster of Pack #61, Collingswood. Art was a master carpenter, mechanic and builder, owning and operating Art Pope Builders. He was an avid NASCAR fan, loved fishing at the shore and time spent with his dog, Molly. Art will be remembered as a man who cared more about others and was ready and able to do anything for them.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family on Saturday 8:30 to 10:45 AM from Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, St. John Church, 809 Park Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM. Interment private.
