Obituary
On September 17, 2010, of Collingswood, NJ. Age 88 years.
Beloved husband of 64 years to the late Betty M. Patterson. Dear father of Donald (Dee) Patterson of Pitman, NJ and Arlene (Paul) Kerth of Collingswood, NJ. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Kristen, Jamie, Megan, Matthew, Jeff and Josh and two great grandchildren: Cody and Miranda. Brother of Miriam Bell, Virginia Backofen and the late George Patterson.
Mr. Patterson was a longtime active member of the First United Methodist Church of Collingswood. He was also a World War II U.S. Coast Guard veteran and a 37 year employee of Western Electric. He loved time spent at the Jersey shore and was known by his grandchildren as super Pop-Pop, capable of fixing anything.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday Evening 7 to 9 PM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ and Tuesday 9 to 10 AM at the First United Methodist Church, Park & Dayton Aves., Collingswood, NJ. Funeral service will follow Tuesday at 10 AM. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in his memory to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
