(nee Baptiste) On February 2, 2014, of Cherry Hill, NJ. Age 67 years. Daughter of the late Jack and Betty Baptiste. Beloved wife of the late Spencer H. Smith, III. Loving mother of Kelly Thompson of Cherry Hill, Bill (Deborah) Thompson of Magnolia, Jeff (Megan) Thompson of Cherry Hill, Randy Thompson of Philadelphia, PA and the late Jill Furman. Devoted grandmother of Kaitlyn, Kylie, Alex, Faith and John. Dear sister of Jack Baptiste, Sandy Gerhard and Terry Baptiste. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Betty's passion in life was her family, especially caring for and being surrounded by her grandchildren. She loved getting "dressed to the nines" and shopping in Haddonfield.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family Thursday Evening 5 to 7 PM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 250 White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ. Memorial Service will follow at 7 PM. Interment private.
