Carl passed away on May 17, 2026.  A longtime resident of Collingswood, NJ he was 79 years old.

Beloved husband of 53 years to Linda R. Skowronek (nee McGarry).  Dear father of Robert (Maria) Skowronek, Matthew Skowronek and the late Michael Skowronek.  Loving Papa to Claire, Olivia and Adam.  He is also survived by his sisters, Rosemary Viggiano and Angela Skowronek (Eric Sussman) and a nephew, Richard Viggiano.  

Carl was a 1965 graduate of Haddonfield Memorial High School and a 1970 graduate of Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA.  He then earned a Master's Degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ.  Carl dedicated a career of nearly 40 years to the State of New Jersey until his retirement in 2002.  He was a longtime member and past scout leader of Troop #59 and was a dedicated little league baseball coach in Collingswood.  Carl loved music, going to concerts and was fond of the Ocean City, NJ beaches.  He was also a member of the Collingswood community garden and an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, May 22, 2026, 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, St. John Church, 809 Park Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 Noon.  Entombment private.
