Carmen R. Bozza went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 19, 2018. He was 90 years old.
He was born in Philadelphia on January 13, 1928 to the late Pasquale and Giovanna Bozza (nee Ferullo) and was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Jean Bozza (nee Mazzuca).
Carmen was an active parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Parish and a proud military veteran, having served in both the Navy and Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was an active member of Murray-Trout Post #262 American Legion in Audubon. Carmen loved his family and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed country music, cultivating his fig trees and watching John Wayne movies. His devotion to family, faith and fun made him a joy to be around, which touched the hearts of everyone who was privileged to know him.
Carmen is survived by his children: Steven (Janice) of Collingswood, Joseph (Stephanie) of Audubon, Nicholas (Eileen) of Berlin and Thomas of Audubon; grandchildren: Bradley (Kathy), Tina (Thomas) and Timothy (Jessica); great grandchildren: Greilyn, Isabella, William, Elise and Madelynn; his sister, Philomena Gambale and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Thursday evening 6 to 8 PM and Friday 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 250 White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 11 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, 4th Ave. & Kings Highway, Haddon Heights, NJ. Interment with military honors will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, NJ.
