(nee Martinez), age 69, of West Berlin, passed away on May 20, 2022, after a brief illness.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald (Honorable J.S.C.); children Luis (Alba), Peter (Cheryl) and Natalie Martinez; grandchildren Elia, Andres and Luis, Jr.; and Valentina and Paloma Martinez. She is also survived by her siblings Herminia Portalatin, Margarita Bates, Felicita Zayes, Benedicta Diaz, Francisco Martinez, Juan Felix Martinez, Rubin Martinez, Hector Martinez and Jose Manuel Martinez. She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Alejandrina Malave Martinez; and siblings Anibal Martinez, Miguel A. Martinez, Ana Rivera and Norma George. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and friends.

Carmen was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a long time member of Holy Eucharist Catholic Church, where she taught CCD for four years. She was a renowned hair stylist and had quite a following for her services. She loved to travel, including to Puerto Rico and Disney, and loved going dancing with her husband and with her sisters and friends. Carmen loved to entertain and her smile lit up the room. Her kindness will be remembered by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her services on Wednesday, June 1st, at Holy Eucharist Catholic Church, 344 Kresson Road, Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until 11:45 A.M., followed by a Mass at 12 Noon. Interment will be private and held at a later date.
