(nee Volk) On Easter evening, April 4, 2021, longtime resident of Oaklyn, NJ.  Age 88 years.

Loving wife of 67 years to the late Ramon A. Burns.  Dear mother of Ramon A. Burns, Jr. (Sharon) of Oregon, Deborah L. Jenson (Alan) of Medford, NJ and Michael Burns of Oaklyn, NJ.  She is also lovingly survived by her grandchildren: Timothy, Stephanie, David, Lindan, Alex, Julie, Elizabeth and P.J. and great grandchildren, Penny and William.

Catherine "Cass" was a longtime employee with the Oaklyn Public School system.  She started in the cafeteria in the early 1970's and eventually worked her way up to be the Secretary to the Superintendent, a position she held until her retirement in September 1998.  Catherine's other passion was her love for her church.  She was a member of the Collingswood Presbyterian Church from the early 1950's until her passing.  The church was her other love along with her job and her family.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in the Collingswood Presbyterian Church Memorial Garden.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Collingswood Presbyterian Church, 30 Fern Ave., Collingswood, NJ 08108.
