Charlene Beth Renne, age 65 and a resident of Medford, NJ passed away peacefully on July 28, 2021 following a year-long illness.  Born in Camden, NJ, she grew up in Westmont, NJ and was the daughter of the late Benjamin C. Renne and the late Alma H. Renne (nee Axner).

Dear sister of Diane L. Polniak (Robert) of Barrington, NJ and Alan J. Renne (Sheryl) of Ridgefield, CT.  Loving aunt to Christine Doman-Wells (Christopher), William A. Doman, Jr. (Tara), Dr. Benjamin Christian Renne, II and Kailee G. Brinkman (Douglas) and great aunt to Benjamin, Ellie, Maya and William.  She is also survived by cousins and many dear, loving friends.

She was a graduate of Haddon Township High School and later received an associate degree from Camden County Community College. In 1980, she embarked on a 40-year career with Holman Enterprises in Mt. Laurel, NJ, starting as a secretary and soon assuming manager roles in dealer Finance and Insurance, and later corporate Compliance and Community Affairs, and where she developed an enduring and special affection for the Holman family. She retired in January, 2021. She was a longtime member of Fellowship Alliance Chapel in Medford, NJ, where she relished her active engagement and leadership in women's ministries, community outreach and missions trips. She also dedicated herself unstintingly to the work of non-profit UrbanPromise of Camden, NJ, and to local efforts to support the homeless.

Known as "Charn" to her immediate family and as "Char" to her wide and ever-increasing circle of colleagues and friends, she made lifelong and loving relationships with each and every contact. She displayed abundant devotion to her nieces and nephews and their families, Christine Doman-Wells of Medford, NJ, William A. Doman, Jr. of Cherry Hill, NJ, Kailee G. (Renne) Brinkman of Dayton, OH, and Dr. Benjamin C. Renne II of Boston. Charlene was most known for her warm smile, her sweet and uplifting disposition, her unreserved, selfless and constant expressions of love and caring to all around her, and her deep Christian faith.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Friday, August 13, 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the Fellowship Alliance Chapel, 199 Church Rd., Medford, NJ 08055.  Memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM.  Inurnment 1 PM at Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ.
