Obituary
On May 17, 2008, of Haddon Heights, NJ. Age 89 years.
Beloved husband of 62 years to the late Elvera D. Barth. Dear father of Charles J., III of Allentown, PA and Thomas J. (Kathy) of Clinton, NJ. He is also survived by two grandchildren: Amy (Jason) Slivinski and Christopher Barth.
Mr. Barth was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran, serving on the U.S.S. Meredith that sank on the D-Day invasion at Utah Beach. He was a resident of Haddon Heights since 1920, a former member of the Haddon Heights Fire Department and retired in 1998 after 65 years of service with W.C. Davis, Inc. of Haddon Heights.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Wednesday 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Rose of Lima, 4th Ave. & Kings Highway, Haddon Heights, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to St. Mary's Catholic Home, 210 St. Mary's Dr., Cherry Hill, NJ 08003.
