On April 27, 2017, of Audubon, NJ.  Age 82 years.

Beloved husband of Juanita J. Bassett (nee Zeigler).  Dear father of Dawn Messner, Michele Bassett, the late Cindy Attanasio and the late Michael T. Bassett.  He is also lovingly survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and his sister, Margaret Watson.

Ed served 2 years with the U.S. Navy reserves, 3 years in the U.S. Army and 26 years as an Audubon Police officer, retiring as Sergeant in 1985.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday evening 6 to 8 PM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 250 White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ.  Funeral Service will follow at 8 PM.  Interment private.
