Obituary

On December 25, 2007, at the Masonic Home of New Jersey, Burlington, NJ, five days short of his 99th birthday.

Beloved husband of 55 years to the late Lottie Finnegan Martin. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Gladys Finnegan Scott of Pennsauken, NJ, a cousin, Marian Kresge of Lehighton, PA and many loving friends, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Mr. Martin was born in Lehighton, PA and was a longtime resident of Collingswood and Haddonfield, NJ. He was an employee of over 50 years with MacAndrews & Forbes Co., Camden, NJ and later with the Haverhill Paperboard Co.

Walt was a WWII U.S. Army veteran. He was recently honored by the Ancient Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine for 50 year membership as a Shriner and Mason and was also active in the Excelsior Scottish Rite.

Mr. Martin was an avid bowler and golfer and member of Little Mill C.C., many years with the Sixty-Five Club of Haddonfield and a member of the Pennsauken A.A.R.P.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service Thursday 11 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, Haddon & Lees Ave., Collingswood, NJ.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Masonic Home of NJ, 902 Jacksonville Rd., Burlington, NJ 08016.
