Obituary
A beautiful bouncing baby girl was born on May 5th, 1929 to Suroline Macauley and Jacob Campbell from Murray Town, Sierra Leone. They named her Christiana Durosemi Charles. She grew up in the western area of Freetown, Sierra Leone. She worked at the Diamond Mining Corporation in Sierra Leone for over 20 years, when she retired she migrated to the United States to join her children. Christiana celebrated her 93rd birthday on Wednesday May 4th, 2022 and was called home on May 10th, 2022.
Christiana is survived by her children, Theresa Charles, Veronica Charles, Prince Charles (Cecilia), Davidson Charles(deceased), Patrick Charles (Karen) and Anita Charles-Olalemi (Ayoola Olalemi).
She was blessed with fourteen surviving grandchildren, great grandchildren and many relatives and friends from home and abroad.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, May 25, 8 to 10 AM at the Haddonfield United Methodist Church, 29 Warwick Rd., Haddonfield, NJ. Funeral service will follow at 10 AM. Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.
