Suddenly on March 18, 2011, of Haddon Heights, NJ. Age 37 years.

Chris was a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and father. Formerly married to Cheryl Richards of Barrington, NJ. He is survived by his precious daughter, Zoe Sofia, his parents, Linda Benner (Dave Price) of Haddon Heights, NJ and Michael Benner (Kim Cogswell) of Blackwood, NJ, maternal grandparents, Dolores and Paul Wagner of Mt. Ephraim, NJ and paternal grandparents, Zona Marie Benner and the late Richard O. Benner of Florida. Beloved brother of Justin and wife Deanna Benner of Bellmawr, NJ and Michelle Benner of Haddon Heights, NJ. Loving nephew of Nancy Wagner of St. Paul, MN, Leslie and Jim Marvel of Upper Darby, PA and the late Richard J. Benner. Also survived by many cousins, 2nd cousins and extended family in Ohio, California and Georgia.

Chris was born in Woodbury, NJ and raised in Haddon Heights. He graduated from Haddon Heights H.S. in 1992 and was working towards his Bachelor degree in Business Administration, while employed at Church & Dwight, Inc., Princeton, NJ. Chris was an avid fan of music and had an eclectic taste in music. He was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan and hobbies included volleyball and golf. He was known for his quick wit and dry sense of humor, as well as his many friends. Chris will be dearly remembered by all as a loving father to his beloved Zoe.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family Thursday, 9 to 11 AM at Emmaus Catholic Community at Sacred Heart location, 7 W. Kings Highway, Mt. Ephraim, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM. Interment private. The family requests contributions be made to the Zoe S.
