IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Colin M.
Murray
September 5, 1979 – February 1, 2025
Holding the hand of the love of his life, Colin Murray of Collingswood, NJ, passed peacefully on February 1, 2025. Colin was born on September 5, 1979 to John and Joan Murray. Colin was born alongside his twin, Matthew, and later joined by his sister, Cara. Loved and nurtured by family and friends in Springfield, PA, Colin pursued his undergraduate degree at Penn State University and later a master's at Drexel. Colin's education, interests, and skills led him to work as a digital media buyer.
Colin Murray was a man who truly understood life's greatest treasures—family, love, and meaningful relationships. A devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend, Colin's life was a testament to kindness, patience, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved.
Married in 2010, to his treasured Emily, Colin and Emily's partnership was rooted in deep mutual respect and joy. Together they built a home filled with laughter and cherished memories alongside their three children: Lucas, Liam, and Grace. Colin, created to be a husband and father excelled in both areas, building a legacy of love and resilience.
Above all, Colin was a man of faith who lived fully, loved deeply, and left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. Even in death, Colin is furthering glioblastoma research. His courageous battle through this difficult disease process has been an inspiration. Though his time here was far too short, his legacy of love and strength will live on in his family, friends, and those who have followed his journey.
The entire family is grateful to all those who have walked with them, side-by-side in love and generosity.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Colin's honor can be made to Collingswood Little League where Colin was able to coach both boys (Venmo: @CollingswoodLittleLeague or Collingswood Little League, PO Box 8746, Collingswood, NJ 08108) or to The Fierce Foundation, a site offering grants and support to glioblastoma families, www.fierce-foundation.org .
