Meachum
December 27, 1960 – December 6, 2023
Craig Meachum, 62, born in Philadelphia, raised in Willingboro and residing in Merchantville, NJ, passed away with his family at his side on December 6th, 2023 after a brief fight with cancer.
After graduating high school, Craig worked as a steel fabricator in Bristol, PA, order picker for England Freezers, bread supervisor for Sunset Bakery and fulfilment associate for Amazon.
A gifted dancer, Craig was selected for a dance pilot by renowned hip-hop choreographer Rennie Harris and was a talented artist filling pads of paper (and napkins and newspapers) around the house with his illustrations. Everyone knew of his passion for Florida State football (Go FSU!)
Craig's love and pride for his children was evident to all that knew him. Craig loved to watch anime with his son and shared video after video of his daughter singing with anyone and everyone that would watch.
He is survived by his wife Ami Meachum (nee Hoover), son Nick, daughter Taylor, mother Mignon Meachum (nee Clark), brother Edward Meachum, Jr. (Ivy), nephews, Antoine and DeAndre and a niece, Jadyn. Craig is predeceased by his father, Edward Meachum.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, December 12, from 6 to 8 PM and Wednesday, December 13, 10 to 11 am at the Foster-Warne Funeral Home, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Funeral Service will follow at 11 AM. Interment Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Craig's memory can be made to the Animal Welfare Association, 509 Centennial Blvd., Voorhees, NJ 08043 ( www.awanj.org ).
