Obituary

Craig L. Spencer of Manahawkin died peacefully with his family by his side on January 28, 2025. Craig, formerly of Collingswood, is survived by his children Karen (Mollii Runkles) of Vincentown; Nick (John Connelly) of Haddon Heights; his partner of 20 years, Cheryl Kocher; brother Bruce (Barbara) of Pemberton, many nieces and nephews including Keith of Burlington. Craig was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, with which he served two tours in Vietnam. After an honorable discharge, he returned home and served the borough of Collingswood for more than 30 years as assistant superintendent for the town.  If you needed a problem solved, Craig was your fixer. He enjoyed boating and fishing in the Barnegat Bay and trying his hand at the Roulette table. Craig is predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Eunice Spencer, and siblings Wayne, Patti, and Carol.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, February 5th from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ followed by a military burial ceremony at 12:30 PM in the chapel at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. Interment private.
