Surrounded by his loving family and friends on February 19, 2016. Of Collingswood, NJ; age 60 years. Beloved husband of 30 years to Gail O. Johnson. Devoted father of Jennifer and Kate Johnson. Loving son of William and Ruth Johnson. Dear brother of Paul (Stephanie) Johnson and Roberta Slusser. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

David was a certified tree expert and received the 2015 New Jersey Arborist of the Year award. He served as treasurer and secretary on the N.J. Board of Tree Experts, was a board member on the N.J. Tree Foundation and member of the Committees for Arboriculture and the Shade Tree Federation.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday Evening 6 to 8 PM and Wednesday 10 to 11 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 7th & Green Sts., Haddon Heights, NJ. Funeral Service will follow at 11 AM. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in David's name to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
