(nee-Holcombe) On June 4, 2008, of Collingswood, NJ. Age 88 years.

Beloved wife of the late Homer J. Cockerham. Dear mother of David (Beverly) Cockerham of Ocean City, NJ. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Andrew and Holly, a sister, Bernice Kelly of Audubon, NJ and two nephews, Scott and Mark Kelly.

Mrs. Cockerham was a 1937 graduate of Collingswood High School. She attended Juniata College and later graduated and earned her master's degree in guidance from Glassboro State College. Mrs. Cockerham taught for 40 years in Itasca, TX and Collingswood, NJ. She was a member for over 80 years of the First United Methodist Church of Collingswood where she taught Sunday School and was a former choir director. She and her family summered in Ocean City since the late 1920s.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family Monday 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Collingswood Manor, 460 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Funeral service will follow at 10:30 AM. Interment Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ.
