(nee Deal) On July 31, 2021, of Collingswood, NJ.  Age 99 years.

Beloved wife of the late Reverend Walter R. Morten, Jr.  Dear mother of Ingrid Miscavage, Gail (Thomas) Fisk and Christine (Joseph) Smith.  She is also lovingly survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Mrs. Morten was born March 15, 1922, in Richmond Hill, NY, to Chambers P. and Sophia Dorothy Deal.  She graduated with her Bachelor's Degree from Wagner College.  She worked as a laboratory technician at Roosevelt Hospital in NYC.  Mrs. Morten was also an accomplished musician and filled in as an organist/choir director at churches where her husband was serving as pastor.  She had been a resident at the United Methodist Communities (Collingswood Manor) since 2017.
