Peacefully surrounded by his family on December 18, 2024, of Glassboro, NJ.  Age 81 years.

Beloved husband of Diane (nee Scuderi).  Dear father of Daniel (Judith), Andrea Barotta, Edward Andrew (Debbie) and Leonard.  Loving grandfather of Danielle (Eric) Carlotto, Travis Karpen, Brittany (Max) Weinstein, Alan Ronchetti, Lola Barotta, Lauren Karpen and Drew Karpen and great grandfather of Jake, Luke, Zach, Gabrielle and Asher.  Brother of the late Carol Ann Karpen, the late Ave Maria Difrank and Monique (Bob) Titlemore.  He is also lovingly survived by nieces and nephews.

Edward was a proud member of Steamfitters Local Union 420, Philadelphia, PA and was owner/operator of E.A. Karpen and Sons, Inc.  He loved sailing on the Chesapeake with Diane on the the "Lady Di" and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends on the beach in Wildwood, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Monday, December 30, 10 AM to 12 Noon at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  Prayer Service will follow at 12 Noon.  Interment private.
