Edwin L. Rosenheim, 92, of Audubon, NJ, passed away on Thursday, November 16th after a long and hard-fought battle against Parkinson's Disease. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Charmian, his cherished parents, Harry and Mae, sister Irene, and brothers, Robert and Louis.  He leaves behind his beloved sons Arthur, Lawrence, Robert (Dianna), Douglas, Bradley (Stephanie), his precious six grandchildren (Evan, Eric, Emma, Ian, Zachary, and Avery), supportive brothers and sisters in law, and caring nieces and nephews.

Edwin was truly a man of many talents.  He was a veteran of both the United States Navy and the United States Army, a world-class piano player, singer and entertainer and many will remember him by his stage name Eddie Rose playing his favorite Hammond B3 organ at Compton's Log Cabin.  His love of music went even further as Edwin was an excellent trumpet and bass player, a certified piano tuner, and owner of the Rose Centre of Music where he taught voice and piano to countless students over the years.  If that wasn't enough, Edwin was also an artist, private pilot, a docent (tour guide) on the Battleship New Jersey, and his favorite role "Pop" to his grandkids.  Edwin will be remembered for his kind demeanor, unceasing sense of humor (especially those puns!), love for his family, and warm smile.  He was a great person and will very much be missed.

If you would like to pay your respects, you are welcome to attend the memorial service we are holding in his honor at the Foster-Warne Funeral Home, 250 S. White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ 08106 on Friday December 1, 2023.  Visitation 10am to 11:30am, with a memorial service at 11:30am.  Interment will be private.
