Beloved wife of 54 years to the late James G. Morgan, Jr. Dear mother of James (Marion) Morgan of Columbus, NJ and the late Kay Morgan (Howard) Snyder of Bozman, MD. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Peter and Jacob Snyder, James F. Morgan and Elizabeth Ann Morgan and Kimberly and Allison Werst, a brother, Milton (Esther) Butler and a sister-in-law, Gladys Ayars.
The daughter of the late Katherine and Clarence Butler, Mrs. Morgan was born in Harrison Twp., NJ in 1918. She was a 1935 graduate of Swedesboro High School and a 1941 graduate of Glassboro St. College, now Rowan Univ. Mrs. Morgan taught 4th and 5th grade at Zane North School in Collingswood for 20 years. She was a member of the NJEA Retired Teachers Assoc., the Camden Co. Teachers Assoc. and the AARP. Mrs. Morgan was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church, W. Collingswood, where she served several terms on the church vestry. She especially enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, spending summer weeks at the family home in Ocean City, NJ and traveling with her late husband throughout the United States and Europe. Her warmth and caring personality will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Saturday 11:00 AM at Christ Episcopal Church, 501 Comly Ave., W. Collingswood, NJ 08107. Interment private.
