(nee Lawrie) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 13, 2012, of Mt. Laurel, NJ.

Beloved wife of 61 years to Arthur Dickol. Dear mother of Robert (Sharon) and Scott (Jackie) Dickol. Grandmother of Ashley, Laura, Jason, Natalie and the late Drew Dickol.

Betty was born on April 15, 1928, in Philadelphia, PA to the late George and Anna Lawrie. She was raised in Collingswood, NJ and graduated from Collingswood High School in 1945. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother ("Meme" and "Grammy"). She also volunteered in a variety of roles at the Collingswood Presbyterian Church, where she sang with the choir since age 7, more than 77 years.

Her treasured memories included decades of travel with her husband, Art, community service projects with the church Delta Class and Circle, holidays and special occasions with her children and grandchildren and long, relaxing summers in Ocean City, NJ. Betty loved to work on challenging jigsaw puzzles, counted cross stitch, playing bridge and collecting Hummels and Beanie Babies.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family Saturday 10 to 11 AM at the Collingswood Presbyterian Church, 30 Fern Ave., Collingswood, NJ 08108. Memorial Service will follow at 11 AM. The family requests donations be made to the Collingswood Presbyterian Church Building Fund at the above address.
