(nee Hartman) On July 16, 2011, of Haddon Heights, NJ. Age 92 years.

Beloved wife of 70 years to the late Charles J. Greenle. Dear mother of Patricia Forte (Robert Metzger) and Lynne (Tim) Daly. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Ed (Kathy), Vickie (Joe), Mark (Agnes), Thomas III (Shannon), Becky (Ted) and Beth (Jim) and 12 great grandchildren.

Throughout her life Betty was very devoted to her husband and family. Her faith in God, perseverance, giving nature, sense of humor and compassion for all of God's creatures provided for a strong, loving and stable family life. After retirement, Betty showed those same qualities in her community activities. This included volunteer work beginning in 1989 at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center and affiliated Home Health Agency, as well as her participation in The Followers prayer group.

Never one to have an idle moment, Betty spent much of her spare time knitting and crocheting for family and friends, and anyone else referred to her in need for a baby blanket, slippers or afghan. And this went hand-in-hand with "Betty's Prayer List" - her list of those in need of prayers - family, friends and anyone else mentioned to her. Many will attest to the success of Betty's prayers.

Betty's strong faith in God sustained her and nourished the selfless giving life that she lived. She will always be in the hearts of all who have been touched by her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, July 21st, 11 AM at the Church of St. Rose of Lima, 4th Ave. & Kings Highway, Haddon Heights, NJ. Inurnment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.

The family requests contributions be made in her memory to the Animal Welfare Association, 509 Centennial Blvd., Voorhees, NJ 08043 (www.awanj.org).
