(nee Achtermann) Peacefully on April 29, 2026, of Audubon, NJ.  She was 62 years old.

Beloved wife of 29 years to Gary S. Lentz.  Dear mother of Emily and Stephen.  She is also lovingly survived by her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda (nee Lentz) and Dieter Splinter, nieces and nephews, her cousins, Liz Lavin, Laurie Geiger, Michael and Ted Jadick and extended family and friends.  She was predeceased by her parents, James and Eleanor Achtermann and her brother, James.

Liz was born and raised in Lancaster, PA.  She was a graduate of Manheim Township High School and Millersville University.  Liz was a dedicated and respected accounting professional who worked for the Vanguard Group, The American Red Cross, Harrisburg Area Community College and the Hershey Park organization.

Liz was a devoted wife to Gary and loving mother to Emily and Stephen.  She will be remembered for her kindness, warmth and her remarkable ability to make others feel seen and cared for.  Through her quiet strength, her sense of humor and the simple moments she shared with family and friends, Liz left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She found joy in life's simple and meaningful pleasures, taking walks, reading and going to see plays.  She especially cherished her trips to Ocean City and always held a deep love for her hometown of Lancaster.

Her family was the center of her life and she gave so much of herself to those she loved.  Liz will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, May 16, 9:30 AM to 11 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 250 S. Laurel, NJ 08054.

The family is grateful for the love and support the have received during this time and extends their heartfelt appreciation to Samaritan Hospice in Voorhees, whose compassionate caregivers not only provided comfort and dignity to Liz but also offered steady guidance, kindness and support to Gary and the family during this difficult time.
