Elizabeth "Bettie" Marie Patton (nee Saunders), age 84, passed away on June 8, 2011; of Sewell, NJ, formerly of Audubon, NJ.

Beloved wife of the late Howard "Bob" Patton and devoted mother of Robin (Larry) Corson of Haddonfield and Karin (Steve) Jones of Blackwood. Loving grandmother of Liz (Paul) Solowey, Michael Corson, Katie (Chris) Marrocco, Kelly Jones and Dan Jones. Great grandmother of PJ, Patton and Parker Solowey. Predeceased by her sister, Barbara (Michael) Nesbella.

Bettie grew up in Lansdowne, PA where she graduated from Lansdowne High School Class of 1945. She was a proud member of the Archer-Epler Drum and Bugle Corps, where she met the love of her life, Bob. They were married in 1947 and made their first home together in Brooklawn, NJ then moved to Audubon, NJ in 1959. Bettie was a homemaker and a crossing guard in Haddonfield, NJ. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. In later years, Bettie enjoyed her summer home on Lake Garrison and the many friends she met there.
