(nee Tegler) Peacefully on January 22, 2016, of Collingswood, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, PA. Age 90 years.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas J. McHugh. Dear mother of Jon (Rosemary) Wackerle, Tori (Jon) Burnham, Mary Kate (Mark) Turtle, Patricia McHugh and John (Michele) McHugh. Loving grandmother of Elizabeth, Julie, Charles, Heather, Becky, Connor and the late Danny. She is also survived by a great grandson, Tommy and a loving companion, James Kelly.

Elva was a 30 year employee with many of her family and devoted friends of the Philadelphia Inquirer. She was also a longtime active member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Collingswood, NJ. She loved and was loved by all and will be truly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Wednesday 10:30 AM to 12 Noon at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 839 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Burial Office and Holy Eucharist will follow at 12 Noon. Interment Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
