On the afternoon of November 2, 2024, we suddenly lost a treasured member of our family and community.

Eric Robinson was born in Jersey City on June 24, 1967. He lived in Jersey City during his early years and later moved to Manalapan, NJ, where Eric's siblings Jahaan, Janeen, and Rachman were born.

Eric graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick. While there, he worked at the Melody Bar where he formed lifelong friendships and met Morgan Halasa. They married in 1994 and moved from Trenton, to Phoenix, to Philadelphia, before settling in Collingswood.

Eric became entrenched in the Collingswood community as he and Morgan raised their three amazing sons, Angus, Porter, and Quinn. Because Eric believed that early nurturing and support was vital to raising healthy and loving children, he became an at-home and work-from-home dad for several years. He coached many of the boys' sports teams and when not coaching, he was always cheering them on from the sidelines.

Eric spread love and joy wherever he went. He led with a warm smile and an open heart and gave a hug like no other. He was a voice for justice and fairness. We have lost a dedicated champion of the people. May his light guide our path and may we share in his vision of peace.  We love you, Eric. Thank you for everything.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 9:00am to 1:00pm at the Foster-Warne Funeral Home, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  Interment private.

We also welcome all who loved Eric to join us in a dance party celebration at the Scottish Rite Grand Ballroom, Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Food is generously provided by Semplice Catering, Norma's Cherry Hill, and Head Bangin' Barbeque.
