On November 14, 2010, of Collingswood, NJ. Age 90 years.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Pardee (Nee-Chong).
Born on October 13, 1920 in Collingswood, a son of E. Browne and Lyda J. Pardee (Nee-Gibson). In 1939 he joined the Internal Revenue Service where he worked for 30 years. During World War II he was loaned to the Navy Department as a Special Agent assigned to Intelligence. In 1948 he graduated from the Wharton Evening School.
His lifelong interest in trains led Pardee to join hobby clubs and serve as an officer. He was president of the National Railway Historical Society for 18 years.
After retirement from government, Pardee formed his own company, combining a tax and financial advisory business and an industrial and management consulting service.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday, November 19, 11 AM to 12 Noon at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Funeral service will follow at 12 Noon. Interment Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ.
