Obituary
Eugene F. "Gene" McKinney passed away on March 8, 2016 in Everett, WA, where he resided for the last few years. He was a former longtime resident of Collingswood, NJ. Age 82 years.
Beloved husband of the late Molly McKinney, who died in 1992. Many years later, he was engaged to the late Catherine "Kay" Seavey, who died in 2009. He was also predeceased by his parents and siblings. He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews and extended family.
Gene was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict veteran and a longtime employee of Amtrak, working out of the Philadelphia station. He was a loyal Philadelphia Eagles fan and was a notable animal lover, talking often about his labrador mix, Shannon, who had died many years before.
Gene will be laid to rest with his wife in a private service at St. Edward's Cemetery, Shamokin, PA.
