Peacefully surrounded by her family on November 2, 2016, of Collingswood, NJ. Age 92 years.

Beloved daughter of the late J. William and Marion Wells. Dearest sister of June W. Schmitz (nee Wells) (the late Robert H. Schmitz). Loving aunt to Marianne (Mark) Williams, Charles (Lee) Schmitz, Matthew (Cookie) Schmitz, Caroline (Allen) Denney, Robert Schmitz, the late Robert Schmitz, Jr. and the late William Schmitz (Carol and Scott Brooks). Devoted great aunt to Mark (Amy), Jacob (Becky), Hilary (Kevin), Beverly (Matthew), Matthew Jr., Robert and Albert; and great-great aunt to Sophia, the late Olivia, Nolan, William and Jacob. She is also survived by lifelong friends May Baker and Vivian Mohr.

Faye was a lifelong resident of Collingswood. She and her girlfriends formed a luncheon club in the 4th grade that has continued for the rest of their lives. Faye was a 1942 graduate of Collingswood High School, then earned her bachelor's degree from Beaver College and her master's degree from Middlebury College, Middlebury, VT. She studied abroad to enhance her education in Spanish and French. Miss Wells was a foreign language teacher (Spanish and French) for 48 years at Riverside High School where she took her classes to Spain and France. At the age of 70, for the next 17 years, Miss Wells was the classroom aide for her niece, Marianne Williams' class in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday 12 Noon to 1:30 PM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Funeral service will follow at 1:30 PM. Interment Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ.
