It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Frances L. Fario (née Lucia), of Brigantine, NJ and formerly of Haddonfield, NJ on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at the age of 87. She passed away peacefully, surrounded with all the love of her children. Born on October 30, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA, Frances lived a life full of passion, grace, and devotion to her family and to her Savior. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert A. Fario, with whom she shared 53 wonderful years of marriage.

A natural caregiver and matriarch, Fran’s greatest joy in life was her family.  A loving mother, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert A. Fario, Jr. (Carol).  Also beloved mother to Carolyn McCartney (Jeffrey), and Anthony Fario. Loving grandmother to Joshua McCartney (Shannon) and Tyler McCartney (Devanie).  A cherished great-grandmother to Mia Marie, Remi Anne, Vincent, Dominic, and Grady McCartney.

She will be remembered for her legendary cooking, giant hugs and kisses, and her unconditional love she gave so freely.

She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of family, faith, and kindness. She is preceded in death by her sister, Theresa. Also survived by her cherished sister, Barbara Kain (David), and so many beloved nieces, nephews, and a host of lifelong friends.

A celebration of Frances’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 with a viewing from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Foster-Warne Funeral Home, 820 Haddon Avenue, Collingswood, NJ 08108.  Prayer service will follow at 11:00 AM.  Interment New Saint Mary's Cemetery in Bellmawr, NJ, located at 515 W Browning Road, Bellmawr, NJ 08031.
