On February 8, 2010, formerly of Barrington, NJ. Age 88 years.
Beloved son of the late William K. and Mary T. Marks. Dear brother of Anne Walker and the late William D. Marks and Alma Marks. He is also survived by a niece.
Mr. Marks was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, seeing action in the Battle of the Bulge. He was also a member and past commander of Barrington VFW Post #7247. He received a Bachelor's degree from Rider College and a Master's degree from Rutgers. Mr. Marks started teaching at Swedesboro High School in 1951 and continued teaching at Kingsway Regional High School, where he also coached track, cross country and was yearbook adviser, retiring in 1985. He was elected to the South Jersey Coaches Hall of Fame in 1980.
Friends and colleagues are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, February 13, 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 250 White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ. Funeral service will follow at 10:30 AM. Interment private.
