Obituary
On February 6, 2014, of Westmont, NJ. Age 98 years.
Beloved husband of 69 years to Doris M. Brown (nee Juengling). Dear father of Lynne (Gerald) Abelow and Mark (Lynn) Brown. Loving granfather of Dominick, Andrew, Stephen, Jennifer, Lindsay and David. He is also survived by two great grandchildren, two nephews and a niece.
Mr. Brown attended Collingswood High School and Pierce Business School, Philadelphia, PA. He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran, was employed at Suplee, Biddle, Stetz Co., Philadelphia, PA and later Auerbach Publishing Co., Pennsauken, NJ. He was a life member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, which included being a choir member, Sunday school teacher, church council and Men's work group. He was also a former Little League coach, was active in Boy Scouts and a member of Westmont AARP.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday 9 to 10:30 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Funeral Service will follow at 10:30 AM. Interment Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lighthouse Hospice, 1040 N. Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 and/or the Pantry Fund, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 832 Park Ave., Collingswood, NJ 08108.
