On November 11, 2011, with his family by his side, of Audubon, NJ. Age 65 years.
Beloved husband of Mary Anne (nee Feuda). Loving father of three sons, Fred J. (Janee), Douglas S. and Dr. David C. Dear pop-pop of Maya E. and Owen P. Son of the late Mildred and Federal DeAndrea. Also survived by his two step-sisters, Georgiann Deist (William) and Debra Stott (Donald), sister-in-law, Elaine (Buthe) Richard, brother-in-law, Joseph Fueda and dear friends, Ann and William Barton.
Fred, a retired railroad conductor, worked 39 years for SEPTA, Conrail and Amtrak. He enjoyed traveling, playing golf, following the Phillies and thoroughbred horse racing. Nothing was more important to him than his wife and family, and he had a special talent for entertaining his grandchildren. He was a graduate of Sterling High School, where he played varsity basketball and baseball and Camden County College. He served his country in Vietnam as a U.S. Marine.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family Wednesday 9 to 11 AM at St. Vincent Pallotti Church, 901 Hopkins Rd., Haddon Twp., NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
