Frederick P. Govito, Sr., passed away surrounded by his loving family on August 28, 2024.  A longtime resident of Barrington, NJ, Fred was 76 years old.

Beloved husband of 50 years to Barbara J. Govito (nee Mailahn).  Loving father of Matthew E. Govito, Jeffrey (Jamie) Govito, Kristin A. Cuffari and the late Frederick P. Govito, Jr. (Krista).  Devoted Pop-Pop to Olivia, Ryan, Giuliana, Chloe, Kaitlyn, Logan, Noah and Emily.  Dear brother of Alicia (Larry) Smith, Michael (Suzanne) Govito and the late Raymond (Katherine) Govito.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Fred was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Penn State fan.  He was also a longtime coach and supporter of the Barrington Soccer Club.  Fred loved fishing, camping, crabbing and cooking.  He especially enjoyed time with family and Sunday family dinners.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, September 4, 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 250 S. White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ.  Prayer service will follow at 12:00 Noon.  Interment private.
