On December 8, 2013, of Ortley Beach, NJ, formerly of Stratford, NJ. Age 88 years. Beloved husband of 65 years to Shirley Meyer (nee Staudt). Dear father of Sharon (Paul) Quintavalle and George R. Meyer, III. Loving grandfather of Jodi (Matt), Beth (Justin), Lori, Scott, Alexandra and Geoffrey. Great grandfather of Brady and Allegra.

Mr. Meyer was raised in Belleville, NJ. He was a World War II and Korean Conflict U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Meyer was also a longtime employee of GMAC, a lifetime member of Stratford Ambulance Association, a member of Essex Lodge #7 F&AM, Caldwell, NJ and attended St. Elisabeth's Chapel, Ortley Beach, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Saturday, December 14th, 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Grace Episcopal Church, 19 Kings Highway East, Haddonfield, NJ. Burial Rite & Holy Eucharist will follow at 10:30 AM. Interment private.
