Obituary
Gently on November 22, 2008, at his daughter's home in Delanco, NJ. Age 88 years.
Beloved husband of 62 years to May Nicholson (nee-Robertson). Dear father of Stephen Nicholson of West Chester, PA and Judy (Rob) Engime of Delanco, NJ. Loving grandfather of Brian Nicholson. He is also survived by his extended family.
Nick was a longtime resident of Collingswood, NJ and a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. He completed his education at Drexel University and embarked on a 35 year career as a mechanical engineer for Sun Oil, Philadelphia, PA. He also enjoyed fishing and gardening, was an avid reader and developed a love for the West, especially Montana. In retirement, Nick regularly walked along Newton Creek with May until he was slowed as Parkinson's disease crept into his life.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Wednesday 1 PM at the Collingswood Presbyterian Church, 30 Fern Ave., Collingswood, NJ 08108, where he attended faithfully for over 40 years. Inurnment in the Church Memorial Garden. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday 12 Noon to 1 PM at the church.
The family requests in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the church at the above address or the Children's Home Society of New Jersey, 635 S. Clinton Ave., Trenton, NJ 08611.
