Obituary
On March 29, 2015, of Barrington, NJ. Age 85 years.
Beloved husband of 60 years to the late Miriam "Mim" Rose (nee Middleton). Dear father of G. Barry (Barbara) Rose of Ft. Washington, PA, Steven E. (Mary) Rose of Ephrata, PA and the late Jeffrey A. (Joyce) Rose. Loving grandfather of 6 grandchildren: Katie, Jason, Becca, Bradford, Tyler and Josh and 5 great grandchildren.
Born and raised in Collingswood, George was a 1947 graduate of Collingswood High School. Mr. Rose was one of the founders and an active coach in Barrington Little League. He was a former member of the Barrington Bowling League, an active member of the Barrington Republican Club and a sports enthusiast, attending all of his son's sporting events. Mr. Rose was also a longtime employee of the NY Shipyard, Camden, NJ and J.J. Henry, Mt. Laurel, NJ.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday 10 to 11 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Funeral Service will follow at 11 AM. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
