On October 4, 2010, recently of West Wildwood, NJ, formerly of Haddon Township, NJ. Age 91 years.


Beloved husband of 68 years to Janet Maroldo (nee-Swain). Dear father of Michael G. (Rita) Maroldo and Stephen G. (JoAnn) Maroldo. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, a brother, Robert Maroldo and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Marie, John, Valia and Anthony.

A World War II U.S. Navy veteran, he fought valiantly in many sea battles aboard the USS Cowpens in the South Pacific. Mr. Maroldo was a longtime resident of Collingswood and the oldest member of the Collingswood Volunteer Fire Company.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday, October 7, 2010, 10:30 to 11:30 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ. Funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM. Interment Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
