In Loving Memory of Gertrude "Trudy" Shaw

Our beautiful Trudy has gone home to be with the Lord.

Gertrude Shaw, lovingly known as Trudy, was the heart of our family.

She was a woman of deep faith, fierce love, and endless compassion.

Her presence was a gift. Her prayers brought peace. Her love was the kind you could feel just by being near her.

She was a devoted mama to her daughter, Emeli Delvalle, and a proud grandmother to Rafael (Danny) Delvalle, Melissa Delvalle, Edgar Vazquez, and Edward Vazquez.

Her joy grew even more as she became a great-grandmother to Kalisa Watson, Thomas Murdock, Kari Lansdowne, and Elias S. Vazquez.

She welcomed those who loved her family with open arms, including Edgar's fiancée, Shanieliz M. Beltran Cruz.

To her, family meant everything and she made sure each person knew how deeply they were loved.

Trudy lived her life with purpose, always sharing the word of God and offering comfort to anyone who needed it.

She was the one we called when we needed prayer, advice, or just a reminder that things would be okay.

She believed in love above all else, and she gave it freely and fully.

She also had a soft spot for dogs. They were her babies too, and they brought her so much joy.

Her love extended to every creature and every soul she encountered.

To know Trudy was to feel safe, seen, and loved.

She was our guiding light, our steady place, our angel on earth.

Even though our hearts ache, we know she is now rejoicing in heaven still watching over us, still loving us, still holding us close.

We love you forever, Trudy.

You will always be with us in every prayer, every smile, every quiet moment of love.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, July 21, 10 AM to 12 Noon at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  Interment private.
