Unexpectedly on May 11, 2026, of Pennsauken, NJ, formerly of Collingswood, NJ.  He was 69 years old.

Predeceased by his parents, Gordon W. and Dorothy L. Woods.  He is lovingly survived by his sisters, Julia Woods and Martha MacDavid (Joseph); his brother, James W. Woods (Angela) and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Sam was 1975 Collingswood High School graduate and Rutgers University-Camden graduate in 1979.  He enjoyed track & field and shooting pool.  He always had great time attending the consumer electronics show in Las Vegas with his brother and cousins, Ray and Ron.  Sam was a longtime employee as a system analyst for Exelon Company (formerly PECO).  He was also an active member and key tech support with Toastmasters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Monday, June 1, 2026, 11 AM to 12 PM at FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  Memorial Service will follow at 12 PM.  Inurnment at Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Animal Welfare Association at www.awanj.org and/or the Salvation Army at www.salvationarmyusa.org.
