On June 11, 2011, formerly of Collingswood, NJ. Age 91 years.
Beloved wife of 71 years to William H. Brown. Dear mother of Bonnie Guthrie of Silverthorne, CO and Sharon Brown of Marlton, NJ. Loving grandmother of Heather Iannarella, Christopher Campbell and Courtney Condon. Great grandmother of Christian, Nicholas, Alexandra and Charlie. Sister of the late Arthur (Filomena Voshell) Short. Also survived and will be sadly missed by her nieces, Marie Zubrzycki, Elaine Jobes, Janet Doyon and nephew, Arthur Short.
Born in Kent, England on June 30, 1919, Mrs. Brown was a 1937 graduate of Collingswood High School and lived there until 2008. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Collingswood, serving as the Altar Guild Directress for over 50 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family Friday, June 17th, 10 to 11 AM at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Haddon & Fern Aves., Collingswood, NJ 08108. Burial Office & Holy Eucharist will follow at 11 AM. Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.
The family requests donations be made to Holy Trinity Epicopal Church Altar Guild at the above address. Arrangements by the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, Collingswood, NJ.
