Beloved husband of the late Peggy Budniak. Dear father of Karen Budniak (Jim Bellew).
Henry was born and raised in Camden and was a member of the first graduation class in 1949 from St. Joseph's High School, where he was a star athlete and captained the football, basketball and baseball teams. He served as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division during the Korean Conflict. In 1955, he joined the NJ State Police, retiring in 1981. After retirement, he worked in security for a number of casinos in Atlantic City.
Henry was a member and past president of the Polish American Citizens Club of South Jersey. He was also a member of American Legion Post #281 in Chews Landing.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday evening 6 to 8 PM and Wednesday 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 250 White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 11 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, St. Aloysius Church, 37 W. Haddon Ave., Oaklyn, NJ. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing, NJ.
