Obituary
On January 24, 2007, formerly of Westmont, NJ. Age 83 years.
Beloved husband for 65 years to Anne M. Deckard. Dear father of James P. (Barbara) Deckard of Williamstown, NJ, Thomas H. (Eleanor) Deckard of Pennsville, NJ, Kathleen A. (Joseph) Marchese of Delran, NJ, Margaret L. (Robert) Keogh of Wenonah, NJ and Maribeth (Samuel) Brown of Turnersville, NJ. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a sister, Patricia Wang of CA.
Mr. Deckard was a WWII U.S. Army veteran and a member of VFW Post #15031 and Brooklawn Post #0072 American Legion. He was a 35 year employee of PSE&G and actively involved with the Cramer Hill Camden Boys Club.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday 8:30-10:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Saviour, 50 Emerald Ave., Westmont, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in his name to the Boys & Girls Club of Camden County, 1709 Park Blvd., Camden, NJ 08103. Arrangements by the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, Collingswood, NJ.
