Of Blackwood, NJ, passed peacefully on July 20, 2017.  Age 67 years.

Husband of Elizabeth (nee Lowe).  Beloved father of Nicholas, Christopher and Catherine.  Loving son of the late Florence and Nicholas Sereno.  He is also survived by his sister, Janet Lewis, niece, Jennifer (James) Peterman, nephew, David (Tatiana) Lewis, Jr. and many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

James was known for his unique sense of humor and rapid-fire wit.  He shared an enduring love of music with family, friends and coworkers who were blessed by his genuine spirit of kindness and generosity.  Jim brought a brilliant enthusiasm to everything he did.  A graduate of Collingswood High School class of 1968, followed by Rutgers University and the University of Pennsylvania, James began his career in securities trading and financial planning.  He transitioned into donor development for several educational and charitable organizations including Drexel and Rutgers Universities and, most recently, the American Red Cross.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday 9 to 10:30 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  Prayer Service will follow at 10:30 AM.  Interment private.
