On September 23, 2018, of Westville, NJ, formerly of Hopatcong, NJ.  Age 75 years.

Beloved husband of 49 years to Louanna Sills (nee Jagen).  Dear father of Gretchen (Dennis) Kolecki.  Loving grandfather of Tyler, Andrew and Jackson.

Jay was a Vietnam U.S. Army veteran.  He was a professional musician, instructor and band leader of "Bitter Sweet."  He also attended the County College of Morris, earning Dean's List honors for the 1976-77 and 1977-78 academic years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Sunday 1 to 2 PM at the Collingswood Presbyterian Church, 30 Fern Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  Memorial Service will follow at 2 PM.  Interment private.
